  Ivette Hawthorne

Ivette has a background in fine art with a concentration in printmaking. She went on to study fashion design and then received her international certification in makeup design and special effects. For ten years Ivette worked as a fashion and makeup stylist in New York City before moving to Austin, Texas with her family in 2014. In 2017 Ivette decided to return to her creative roots and pursue art full-time. She has shown her work in several galleries in the Austin area, teaches classes and workshops at various locations and also serves on the Round Rock Arts Board. A mom of four, Ivette discovered she possessed a true passion for teaching fine arts to little ones. She believes that art is a powerful form of self-expression and discovery that can heal the soul and expand horizons.
